Prantap Kalra
Prantap is a multifaceted counsel with diverse experience (global and local) focusing on handling business operations spanning manufacturing, IT/ITES, outsourcing, sales marketing, distribution, customer related issues and corporate secretarial function. His experience as a counsel at the Supreme Court and with law firms has given him a profound understanding of the legal framework and implementing strategies to avoid/manage disputes and instructing external counsel. He has incessantly been involved in setting-up, scaling and handling teams/department. Recently, at Nissan’s global HQ at Japan he supported global IS/IT and Technology contracts (including connected new tech vehicles) and currently serves as the General Counsel for Nissan India and S. Dr Madhav Khosla
Madhav Khosla is the Ambedkar Visiting Associate Professor at Columbia Law School. He is also an Associate Professor of Political Science at Ashoka University and a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows. He studied political theory at Harvard University, where his dissertation was awarded the Edward M. Chase Prize for “the best dissertation on a subject relating to the promotion of world peace”. His research interests lie in the fields of public law and political theory, and much of his work is on the theory and practice of constitutionalism under conditions of rapid democratization, weak state capacity, and low levels of socio-economic development. His most recent book India’s Founding Moment: The Constitution of a Most Surprising Democracy has been widely acclaimed across circles.
